Abstract

The aim of the current research is to examine the nature of the relationship in terms of correlation and the direct effects of the dimensions of digital transformation (Physical dimension, Institutional dimension, Functional dimension) on competitiveness with its dimensions (competitive flexibility, competitive excellence, lower cost) as the first dependent variable, along with operational processes as a second dependent variable by applying it to the employees of EgyptAir. To achieve the researcher's goal, the researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach, It was based on a questionnaire using the simple random sampling method, where (380) valid forms were collected for statistical analysis using the SPSS V.25 programs to test the research hypotheses.
The research resultsconcluded that there is a strong positive significant correlation between the dimensions of digital transformation and the dimensions of competitiveness on the one hand, and on the other hand, there is a strong positive significantcorrelation between the dimensions of digital transformation and operational processes, which means acceptance of the first and second hypotheses regarding the correlation relationship between variables. With regard to the effect relationship, it was found that there is a positive significant effect of the dimensions of digital transformation on the dimensions of competitiveness and operational processes, which means acceptance of the third and fourth hypotheses.
