Abstract

Climate change is a global issue that cuts across all sectors, and one of those sectors is the hotel sector, which is an industry that includes a broad category of areas within the service industry that includes lodging, food and beverage service, events, theme parks, travel, and tourism. It includes hotels, tourism agencies and restaurants. This study aims to determine the role of using green technologies in the hotel sector in improving the climate by achieving sustainable environmental development, where the use of environmentally friendly green technologies contributes to preserving the environment and climate by relying on resources and technologies that do not disturb the ecosystem, as well as the transition to a society Low carbon emissions by designing a set of technology devices as an auxiliary element to reduce greenhouse gas emissions resulting from other sectors. The results of the study showed that the green technologies used in the hotel sector contribute significantly to finding many solutions to environmental problems that affect the state of the climate by preserving the sustainability of natural resources, and not depleting them through good use of them, which contributes to maintaining the ecological balance and reducing risks. Pollution that negatively affects the global climate.
