The Impact of Human Resource Recruitment on the Competitive Advantage of Tourism Companies (An applied study in Egypt)

Abstract

The study aims to know the extent to which recruitment  human resources affects the competitive advantage of tourism companies and to highlight the concept and objective of recruiting human resources and the importance of the recruitment process, its benefits and sources, and determining its impact on the achievement of a competitive advantage for tourism companies, Presenting some of its problems, highlighting the recruitment policy and the sources of internal and external human resources and how to attract them to choose the most suitable ones and hire them, The study methodology relied on the analytical descriptive curriculum to describe the topic of the study a comprehensive and accurate description of data and information collection and reference to specialized research, books and scientific messages on the subject of the impact of human resource recruitment on the competitive advantage of tourism companies and the study was adopted in data analysis and validation testing using the statistical programme "SPSS Version 24", as well as some descriptive statistical methods such as numbers and percentages, computational medium, and standard error, the sample of the study was based on the selection of 384 companies, and 384 forms were distributed to a sample of human resources managers of tourism companies category " A "Grand Cairo from a total of 1669" A "tourism companies in the Greater Cairo region 180 forms were recovered, of which 150 were valid for analysis, while 30 were invalid due to lack of data and the response rate was 90% and the study showed a statistically significant correlation between human resource recruitment and competitive advantage, The study concluded that a strategy should be developed to attract the human resources of tourism companies from within and outside the organization in order to achieve competitive advantage.
