Abstract

Abstract: The Western desert is an authentic part of the Egyptian state, which has been sponsored throughout history in general, the era of the Muhammad Ali family in particular. In this era, the military establishment assumed responsibility for the reconstruction of the Western Desert, which confirms the civilian role of the Egyptian armed forces through the ages.
The study sheds light on King Fouad's journey to the Western Desert in 1928. And that through introducing King Fouad and the reasons for his journey to the desert and its timing, the delegation accompanying him, the number of nights, places of residence, and means of transportation used during the journey, and the preparations that preceded the launch of the journey, the itinerary and the detailed visit program for all nights, how to return, and the results of the royal journey. The study concludes with the most important recommendations. The research is provided with a number of illustration pictures of the royal journey
