Abstract

Therefore, this research will deal with heritage tourism, which is of great importance to many countries, which necessitates the need to develop this tourism pattern, as heritage represents the memory and mirror of nations, and Egypt comes at the forefront of countries that have many elements of heritage tourism of all kinds, natural and cultural in Most of the tourist destinations, including the city of Siwa in Matrouh Governorate, is one of the cities in Egypt that boasts many elements of tangible and intangible cultural heritage tourism, as it has a long history. Of historical, cultural, economic and social values, Siwa Oasis possesses a cultural and natural heritage that is characterized by a very special local character, unique in some of its vocabulary, in a way that made it a destination for a future tourist market due to the availability of the elements of heritage and cultural tourism as archaeological areas and sites dating back to different historical times, natural and environmental components, and geological diversity.
